"Customer states washer will have water in bottom after not running it, and sometimes will not drain. Put unit in diagnostics and received following error codes 8-2 drain motor problem 10-1 dispenser electrical problem 6-1 cool water. Removed unit fro, diagnostics and started on normal cycle. Water supplied to washer is hot, opened up unit after fill and found excess of suds. Too many suds causing long drain times. Failing water valve is reason for water building up in bottom of dishwasher. Recommend replacing water valve. Put unit back into diagnostics to test dispenser. Dispenser opened in diagnostic. Started and drained unit 4 times to remove suds build up. On fourth time, drain pump failed to turn on, had to restart cancel then drain pump turned on. Possible board issue. Quoted customer for new board, drain pump and water valve and a quote of for water valve and drain pump. Customers to shop around and call if they wish to proceed with repairs."

Upon inspection the dishwasher had a leak that had caused an AE error. The door of the unit was also not closing properly. I removed the kick plate and found the left front leg to be far too low. I adjusted the leg so that the dishwasher is now completely level. The leak was likely caused by the dishwasher being not level and the door was also affected by this. Once I leveled the unit I ran a test cycle and confirmed that the leak error had gone and the door is now latching properly. Derek!

Called LG tech line and was on phone for over 45 minutes. We went through some diagnostic test to figure out what could be going on with ice maker. Checked unit temps and were spot on with set temps. Checked to make sure there was no frost build on on evap covers and to ensure the fans were working. Tested the mini board in the door for fan voltage and the ice maker sensor but was not getting the correct readings. The ice maker is working but was not releasing the ice cubes after they were frozen. Tech line said its either the door or the ice maker. Consulted customer that even a simple test/reset could even get it back working without needing repairs and will check back in 24 hours to see if unit made ice. Customer also said theyre not sure its making craft ice anymore again. Unit should be making three craft ice balls every 24 hours. Upon inspection the dryer was not heating during a cycle. I first disconnected the dryer from power and gained access to the gas valve assembly. I inspected the igniter and found it discolored but had proper resistance. I checked the connections to the gas valve assembly and flame sensor and all were good. After further inspection I saw that there was traces of normal water dripping from the front when opening the door after cycle and as well as dripping when opening the detergent dispenser. Ran a full quick cycle and I couldnt get the unit to replicate the issue. I also saw that the filter was clogged with dog hair and debris and couldve caused that small leaking. Cleaned the filter and and told customer to keep an eye since I wasnt able to see any issues with the unit its self. Did see a service bulletin on the dispenser drawer leaking when open or closed did not see it myself during test cycle. As for the loose lock latch I tighten the latch and the door. Job complete.
