Privacy Policy

Your Personal Information

Our privacy policy is pretty simple: We will never sell your information, period. We will utilize your information internally to notify you of information relating to your service or parts purchase. We will survey you upon your experience. We may also, periodically, inform you of current promotions, likely via your email address if you submitted that when scheduling service. We will only release information about you and your service to involved parties (i.e. you or warranty companies), unless you specifically authorize us to provide the information to someone else.

You have the right to request your personal data, which you may then correct or request we delete from our database. If you wish to do so, please contact us.

Online Payments

Online invoice payments are processed through Authorize.net, one of the best and most secure gateway providers in the merchant services industry (i.e. it manages the routing of sensitive customer information through the electronic check and credit card processing networks). Authorize.net adheres to strict industry standards for payment processing, including:

  • 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology for secure Internet Protocol (IP) transactions.
  • Industry leading encryption hardware and software methods and security protocols to protect customer information.
  • Compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

You can review our data processing agreement with Authorize.net here. Hometown Hero Appliance Repair will never store your payment information in our system.

Anything Else?

Nope, that’s it. We don’t like junk mail or telemarketing either, so we don’t dish out your information to anyone else.
