2021 Holiday Food Drive

With the help of our customer community, Hometown Hero Appliance Repair is once more partnering with Food Bank for the Heartland on a holiday food drive. From November 1 – 30, customers who donate three or more food items will receive $10 off any completed repair or maintenance.

How to Donate

There are two ways you can contribute food for the drive:

  1. Schedule service to repair or maintain your appliances. Technicians will be accepting donations at the end of each appointment.
  2. We will also accept freewill donations at our Omaha parts counter: 830 S 75th St, Omaha, NE 68114.

Donations will be delivered by Hometown Hero to Omaha’s Food Bank for the Heartland, and from there distributed to over 600 food pantries, schools, emergency shelters and other nonprofit partners across Nebraska and western Iowa.

All non-expired canned goods and non-perishable food items are accepted, but most-needed food items include:

  • Peanut butter
  • Macaroni & cheese
  • Canned tuna & chicken
  • Cereal
  • Pancake mix
  • Canned fruit & vegetables
  • Pork & beans
  • Pasta & sauce
  • Boxed meals

Need a Reason to Schedule Service?

Maintaining your cooking appliances prevents them from breaking down during the busy holiday season, and ensures that they cook your turkey, and every other delicious meal you have planned, to perfection. Think of it like maintaining your car, only you’ll also be donating to an excellent cause AND receiving a discount on your invoice.
