We are excited to offer Remote Visits for customers who want a quick diagnosis or feel they may be able to fix the issue themselves (with a little expert help).

How it works

Our goal is to help you avoid calling us out to your home if the issue is either (a) a very easy fix or (b) cost-prohibitive. During each 15-minute Remote Visit, one of our certified appliance technicians will review your appliance issue, then provide the most likely diagnosis and an estimate for the repair or parts (when applicable).

The cost of a Remote Visit is only $49, and if you decide to proceed with an in-home visit (provided you are in one of our service areas), we’ll send someone out and apply the $49 fee to your service charge (if service occurs within 30 days of your remote visit). Reasons to schedule a Remote Visit

  • You suspect that your appliance may be unrepairable or require major repairs. 
  • You suspect that a part needs to be replaced and would like a price estimate.
  • You want to ensure the technician arrives at your home with the correct part.
  • You are seeking a second opinion after hiring another service company.
  • The filter lights won’t turn off.
  • A strange or loud sound is coming from your appliance.
  • Your refrigerator is not cooling and you’re trying to determine if it’s serious.
  • Your appliance is displaying an error code or some other code that you don’t recognize.
  • You live outside of our service area and/or are a DIYer who wants to buy a part and fix it yourself.
