"Tech arrived and customer explained that the upper and lower dishwashers won't drain and the lower is also getting an A6 error code when running. Tech inspected and found installation to be against requirements for F&P. Drain hoses have an extension on them and both drain hoses merge into a single drain hose. Hoses do not have backflow prevention systems and water has been unable to drain correctly for the entirety of ownership as the Y connector on the end of the drain hoses has to be the end of the drain hose. Tech started both drawers separately from one another and monitored operations. Lower drawer is extremely slow to fill, causing the a6 error to develop. Upper drawer also is slow to fill, but satisfys the water level just before the error would trigger. Water from the lower drawer drains out and water back flows into the upper zone as well as into the sink. When the upper zone drains out, water flows into the lower drawer and the sink. Drain lines and installation are leading to standing water being left behind after draining. This issue can not be fixed as the dishwasher is a satellite installation in the home and the manufacturer does not allow single hose extensions. Fill valve can be replaced to address the A6 and drain hose extension kit can be purchased to prevent the backflow of dirty water between zones. Tech provided information and a quote for repair. Customer declined due to cost and continued failures. Job is complete."

"Customer states that the freezer is no longer cooling but the fridge works properly, as does the ice maker. Tech checked for codes and none are active. Display is showing current temperatures of 65 in the freezer and 37 in the fridge. Tech measured temperatures and confirmed that the display is reading accurately. Freezer is 65 to 67 throughout and the fridge is 35 to 41. Ice room is 31 degrees and no ice is present in the bin. The mold is filled with liquid water. Tech tested the door switch for the freezer and found the lights and fan toggling on and off depending on position. Slid fridge away from the wall to check the condenser fan and computer. Insulation in the back wall is compromised and moisture has been developing on the back of the unit for some time. Tech removed the covers and found heavy oxidation on the copper lines in the machine compartment. Condenser fan is running, compressor is running, and the condenser fan is clean. Tech verified all harness connectors are plugged in fully on the updated tti main board. Tech pushed fridge back to the wall and disassembled the freezer. Freezer evaporator has no frost pattern occurring and minor condensation is accumulating at the start of the coil. A refrigerant leak is occurring, likely in the heat exchange lines going from the filter drier to the fresh food evaporator. Excessive condensation in the rear cavity has likely led to expedited corrosion and deterioration of the refrigerant lines that are foamed into the panel. Sealed system issue is unrepairable if the leak is occurring inside the foam-insualted cavities. Tech explained findings to the customers whom are upset but also understand. "Customer says that the washer gets out of balance and makes noise whenever items are being washed. He says that the washer runs perfectly when empty. Tech connected to the HASS diagnostic port and ran an overall check up, followed by a horizontal balance/stability test. Washer passes all tests and runs extremely smooth without items inside. Tech looked at the pedestal and confirmed that the washer is attached properly and the feet are adjusted correctly. Tech finds no failures and believes that the washer is working as intended at this time. Customer showed the technician a video of his concern and tech also finds the video to show the washer working properly. Tech explained to the customer that when wet items are spinning in the washer, they have physical weight which causes the tub to oscillate. The spin speed eclipses 125mph and any weight that is not equalized will show as bouncing around or a vibration. Customer says that he owned previous sets of Samsung washers that did not act this way. Tech then explained the old VRT system with the tungsten weights that have been subsequently removed on new models. Removal of the counter balance weighting leads to a more stabile operation as a whole, but also leaves the washer more susceptible to becoming out of balance. Tech recommends that customer use cycles that are specific to the items that are being washed (ie: bedding in the bedding cycle, towels in the towel cycle) and also recommends adjusting the spin speed to a slower speed when light athletic clothing is washed or any items that have a water repellent coating. Customer will try suggestions. Job is complete."

Customer states that the washer shut off and won't unlock. Tech arrived and pressed the power button. Washer powers on without issue. Washer is filled with bedding and water level is full. Tech started a cycle and the washer drains out without issue. Tech powered unit off and door unlocks. Tech started a new cycle and found that the fitted sheet balled up and created an out of balance condition. Tech monitored a full cycle and no issues were observed. Job is complete.
