Arrived at the house and the tenants are not home. Spoke with them through the video doorbell and received a garage code to gain access. Fridge tempersture is 41 degrees and freezer is 11 degrees on arrival. Ice is present on the floor of the freezer and it appears that a clogged condensate line has led to water backing up inside the machine. Disassembled the freezer and confirmed suspicions. Thawed condensate trough and air ducts to remove ice accumulation. Pulled a transparent wrapper from the drain opening and discarded. Poured 10oz of boiling water into the drain and confirmed that water exits into the pan without issue. Reassembled machine and adjusted temperatures to a slightly colder setting to push both zones into their desired ranges. Job is complete.

"Customer says that the dryer may not be heating. Is taking 3 or 4 cycles for items to come out dry. Tech started dryer and ran tests. Heat is being generated but the cycling thermostats shut off quickly and stay off for an extended period. Pulled the lint filter and found air pushing out of the dryer, rather than being sucked in. Venting is a 16' long flexible duct that goes from the dryer to the exhaust vent with no rigid piping in the walls. Tech went outside and found no airflow leaving the home. Removed flexible ducting and cleaned it out completely with a rotory brush kit. With venting reinstalled, cycling thermostats are on/off at regular intervals, airflow is sucked into the dryer at the lint filter housing, and airflow leaving home is 17mph. Job is complete."

Tech connected his genuine bypass filter and it is immediately detected by the fridge and water dispenser begins working. Ice maker also successfully refills with water. Tech finds that the recently purchased filters are either counterfeit or faulty. Tech closely inspected the filters and both have rfid tags under their labels, so tech is uncertain if the filters are high end knock offs or poorly manufacturered oem parts. "Customer states that his LG app is alerting to a door being ajar while all doors are closed. Has been going on for roughly 2 weeks, leading to the ice cream and ice packs being slightly soft. Tech arrived and found the fresh food compartment at 41. Freezer has been opened for 20-25 seconds and measuring between 1 and 9 degrees. Tech used a magnet to trigger the reed switch in the freezer and verified that the ice fan and evaporator fan power on and begin circulating air. Tech foumd freezer rails a little stuck for both freezer drawers, but no physical signs of a door being left open. Removed deli drawer from the fresh food zone and found the return vents clear of ice and frost. While inspecting the unit, the machine entered defrost and tech is able to confirm that the evaporator is melting down and the condensate is sizzling on the heating element. Tech and customer checked the LG ThinQ app and ran self diagnosis. Machine passes the diagnosis test and says that the sensors, fans, defrost, and 'etc' are all in passing condition and experiencing normal operation.
