"Customer says that he cleaned out the crisper bins on Saturday and the fridge had stopped cooling by the time he woke up Sunday. Tech inspected unit and found both interior compartments at 76 degrees. Ambient in home is 71, indicating that heat exchange is occurring. Compressor and fans are on and running. Tech removed shelving and evaporator cover in the fridge and found no frost pattern developing. A sealed system leak has occurred. Tech cycled thermistors to reset machine and used magnets on the reed switches to monitor for frost pattern development, but no frost pattern ever occurs. Tech asked about the fridge and found out that the fridge was purchased and installed by the previous home owner, which means that no warranty can be applied. Tech provided a COD quote to replace the evaporators, the condenser, the compressor, and drier due to a leak having occurred. Customer declined repairs. Job is complete."

"Inspected ice maker and found no power supplied to the unit. Interior lights and console are off. Checked power cord under machine and 0vac is supplied. Pulled unit and outlet has 120vac. Jostled machine and the drain pump turned on, evacuated water, and the machine turned on. Tech added 32oz of water back into the pump and the pump does not energize and evacuate water. Tech began adding additional water and the unit shuts off as the flood switch is activated inside the drain pump. Called manufacturer to see if they would allow tech to remove the factory installed drainage system, as ice maker is sitting on top of a floor drain, and the manufacturer does not want modifications done while in warranty. Although the customer purchased the wrong model for this installation, the manufacturer has agreed to replace the drain pump to remedy the issue. Tech will order pump and return for installation. Tech arrived and customer has taken all food and drawers out of the machine. Temperature is 37 in the freezer and 45 to 49 in the fridge. Tech reset both ice makers and they harvest and refill with water. Tech ran cooling test in hass and found that both zones are maintaining above average. "Cooktop installation makes model and serial tag difficult to locate. Tech ran tests of the cooktop and found all 6 burner modules working to heat the cookware. Smallest pan in home does not work on any module. Pans are clad pans, so tech asked for a cast iron pan to test with. Used cast iron pan and found that the modules heat in a unique pattern that is not consistent, causing customer to burn items and cook them unevenly. Tech explained that the cooktop is physically working as intended but that the customers cooking style is not going to work well with this particular system. Tech suggests customer go towards a regular ribbon wire heat source so that the heat is consistent in all directions of the pan. Job is complete."
