"Customer says items in the back of the freezer will stay frozen, but items elsewhere will thaw. Fridge seems to be unaffected. Tech took temperatures and found freezer floating between 24 and 28 degrees. Zone is currently empty and evaporator fan is on and running. Temperature of the fridge is between 40 and 45 degrees and airflow is effectively entering zone from the freezer. Tech felt the sides of the unit and noticed that the sides are very warm. Tech pulled fridge away from the wall and removed rear machine cover. Machine compartment is extremely hot. The compressor, condenser, and fan motor can not be touched by hand. All are off and not running at this moment. Tech used clamp meter to check for draw from the compressor and the condenser fan. Fan is consuming .2a but is not operating. Compressor is off, presumably on overload. Condenser fan is faulty and tech believes other issues seen are a direct result of the fan failure. Tech provided a quote for a replacement fan motor in the machine. Customer declined due to cost and availability of replacements from a local dealer in town. Job is complete."

"Customer states that their oven is burning the tops of items but not cooking the bottom. Also noticed fan noise occurring after running a really long, hot cycle. Tech placed digital thermometers inside the oven and placed customer's dial thermometer next to the sensors. Turned oven to 350 degree bake and monitored for noises or temperature issues. Tech allowed preheat to satisfy and found the broil element stays on for the duration of the preheat and then shuts off. Preheat temperature is 385 actual and customers dial thermometer reads exactly 350. Allowed unit to continue heating. Oven temperature is adjusting between 335 and 385, giving an average of 360, after watching two cycles occur. Outer broil element is continuing to glow red hot anytime the bake element is energized. Slight buzz is occurring in the panels from the extreme heat generated in the top of the oven. Tech downloaded the owners manual and found that the upper element is not a broil element, and is actually referred to as an upper bake element. Upper and lower elements energize together when the 'bake' cycle is selected. Using 'bott bake', 'pizza', and 'conv' (not conv bake/convection broil) will utilize only the lower or rear elements when running. Using this oven in the 'bottom bake' cycle is most similar to how a standard oven would work, where all of the heat post-preheat will originate from the floor of the oven. Tech also finds that the panel buzz does not occur as frequently or as aggressively when bottom bake is used. Discussed findings with the customer and showed the owners manual where each cycle is discussed more thoroughly. Customer understands and will relay information to his wife. Job is complete."

"Tech turned dryer on and immediately heard the front left roller screeching. Provided a quote to the customer to replace all 4 drum support rollers with updated parts, along with the belt tensioner if necessary. Customer approved quote. Tech disassembled and found both back rollers and the front left roller failed. Front right was a few weeks away from separating like the others. Tech vacuumed the dryer out and installed updated rollers. Belt tensioner assembly has the factory updated part, which tech finds to be extremely reliable and unnecessary to replace. Customer states that the dishwasher lower spray assembly fell off and the dishwasher started leaking. Tech inspected and found that llthe lower spray assembly did fall off. Tech inspected and found no major damage to either of the spray components. Tech reinstalled sprayer and started cycle. Dishwasher runs smoothly and no immediate issues are heard. Tech removed the toe kick panel and found a significant leak occurring from the back left corner of the machine. Tech used 10 paper towels and mopped up the soaked floor. Tech restarted cycle and found 4oz to 6oz leaks onto the floor from the fill flume. Tech checked parts breakdown and found that the fill flume is only available as part of the wash tub. Wash tub is discontinued and can not be replaced. Tech explained findings to the daugther in home and the daughter relayed the information to her mother. Dishwasher will need to be replaced as it can not be repaired. Tech turned off the water supply and propped the door open to prevent accidental usage. Job is complete.
