Upon inspection the dryer does tumble but will not heat. I first checked the outlet and confirmed it had a good 240V. I then disconnected power and gained access to the heater. The thermal fuse and outlet thermistor both tested ok. I then tested the heater coils and they did have continuity. I then further inspected the heater coils and found signs of thermal stress under load. The heater it setting of the thermostat when electricity is run through it. Upon inspection the washer walls not start the cycle after filling. I connected my diagnostic device and found error codes for out of balance, mode shifter, and final spin failure. I tipped the unit back and discovered an excessive amount of grease around the shifter and signs of water leakage around the gear case. The grease saturated the area of the clutch and caused a a major failure. Customer states that the convection fan wouldnt turn. This model has to reach its set point before turning the fan. I put unit for 350 in conv bake and once it reached its temp the fan didnt turn on. The motor was receiving 120v. And the motor tested at 36.5ohms which it needed 37ohm. I then realized if you put alittle bit of pressure on the component by pushing it forward the fan would kick on, but once the pressure was released the fan would stop. Motor will need to be replaced.; ordrng 1 MDG62162805 (Convection fan - dsm) and 1 EAU61865301 (Motor - dsm)
