Tech inspected around the washer and noticed that the flooring is discolored and damaged around the rear, sides, and front of the washer. Removed front panel from machine and interior is extremely damaged from a prolonged leak. Started washer and observed for leaking. Leaking is originating from the top of the tub. Fill valve and flume are leaking onto the tub cover, water is flowing down the outer tub, and then water is leaking onto front suspension, motor, and drain pump. Frame of the washer even has holes in it from the rust. Tech allowed machine to run while checking parts availability for quote. Parts, other than the frame, are available. "I arrived today to complete the repair to the washer. I first disconnected power and removed the console. I then removed the main control and installed a new one. I then reassembled the unit and ran a calibration cycle. Finally, I tested the cold valve and got slightly better flow. I advised customer to call a plumber because the water pressure on the cold line was still very low and may cause issue in the future. Customer states that the freezer on 2 separate occasions the freezer section melted all her ice and product but was now working fine. Upon inspection in service mode I found no error messages and was able to test all the fans and defrost heaters with no issues. I checked the gasket on the freezer and is was in good shape but likely the drawer had been left ajar on the 2 occasions and resulted in the melting. Customer also mentioned that both her crisper drawers were broken. Upon inspection I found that plastic that retains the snaps from the cover had broken off and no longer holding. "Customer states that the ice maker is leaking. No error codes. Saw that the ice maker was sweating cause it wasnt cold enough in the ice room. The compressor wouldnt turn on and it had to be rebooted in order to kick on. Temps were 49 in fridge and 40 in freezer. Called techline to help trouble shoot. Put the unit into service mode and had the compressor running. Were getting a complete frost pattern and the compressor is running.
