Removed main pcb and installed new pcb in place. Will send board back for party warranty. Checked interaction of door latch and door strike and found them aligned correctly. Removed user interface pcb and can see no corrosion. Tech is familiar with user interface going bad and mimicking other issues inside machine. Talked to customer about issues experienced, and customer says he had heard the dishwasher power up on its own, which signifies capacitors are failing on upper pcb. Provided a part only quote to replace upper board and customer approved. Ran new test of machine with both boards updated and unit is working well. Customer states that 30 minutes after they have use the oven they smell a really strong gas odor. Said they had gas company come out and identified the oven being the issue. I then showed up and let the unit run for about 15 minutes and found it after I canceled and let it sit for 30 minutes that there was no gas smell coming from the oven. I found that the machine is operating properly and the smell that they were possibly smelling was the heat from the oven but I informed customer that there was no gas smell coming from the machine.
