"Customer states that their dryer makes a knocking noise during the rinse and spin cycles. Ran a test spin only with no clothes in the washer and the washer spun well with just a little vibration at slow speed. High speed spin sounded clean. Had customer add a typical load of clothes to the washer and ran a rinse and spin cycle. There was about 5 seconds of knocking noise during the slow spin before it reached a higher speed and the knocking disappeared. This is normal behavior for a front load washer on a pedestal. Advised customer to avoid very large and very small loads to avoid excessive knocking during low speed spins. Returned with a thermistor. And then disassembled the unit and took the evaporator cover off and gained access to the old temp sensor. I then cut out the old temp sensor and spliced in a new temp sensor. Found that after I spliced the temp sensor in and check the temperatures on the unit I found it it was reading the correct temperature now. I then thought all of the waterlines out and found that the unit was dispensing water and not leaking any water anywhere. Job complete.

Customer complaint is that unit is popping up with a BE error code and continuously beeps. Found the error code was an error between communication of the main control board in the sensors inside of the unit. I then called tech line and tech line informed me that a simple fix to this issue is to leave the unit unplugged for eight hours and then to plug the power back in. Informed customer to go ahead and leave the unit unplugged for eight hours and then plug unit back in. Will order parts if error keeps occurring.

Tech-support informed me that this product happens with brand new units because the circulation pump gets stuck from sitting so long. They then informed me to put boiling water with some rinse aid into the unit to loosen the circulation pump. I found that after doing this step that the unit was operating properly. "Tapped into system and got high side pressure at 56.8 and low side at 66.9 indicating a failed compressor. I reclaimed a full charge worth of refrigerant. Unit will need the compressor, and drier replaced. I removed old compressor and drier from unit. I then installed and welded in new compressor and drier. Then proceeded to pressurize system with nitrogen to 250 psi. I checked all welds with bubble leak detector and no leaks were found. Next I vacuumed down the system for 30 minutes and achieved a 496 micron vacuum. I updated main pcb software for new compressor. After removing vacuum, pump the vacuum settled out at 1491 microns. Vacuum holding steady. I then recharged system with 5.11oz of r134 a refrigerant. Unit is now running and beginning to blow cold air. Allow 24 hours for unit to cycle temps back down to normal. Allowed operation to continue and machine is consuming 7.3a, proving that the heating circuit works. Opened dishwasher and found items covered in water. Rinse aid is not used. Also found that machine does not have an atmosphere vent to allow steam to escape during drying. Combination of plastic tub, lack of rinse aid, and lack of atmosphere vent is creating drying issue.
