Upon arrival checked for error codes and found error for motor fault. When running through a rinse and spin, unit does not fully spin and then stops. Tub spins free and quietly when spinning by hand. As soon as motor starts the noise starts. Tipped unit back to access motor underneath. Measured resistance of motor windings and is out of factory specifications. Recommend replacing motor. Uninstalled oven and verified both elements have continuity. Returned power and set to bake at 350. Tested both elements and voltage was inconsistent for a few seconds and then dropped to 0 for both. Re-entered test mode and after the 4th auto test, an error for fault in control board was shown. Recommend replacing main control board. Reassembled rear panel and reinstalled oven. Customer complaint is that unit was leaking water underneath of the crispers. Found that when I took all of the items out of the fridge along with all of the shelving I found that after I took the evaporator cover off of the unit that there was a lot of ice buildup causing the drain to be clogged. Found that unit was still cooling properly but was leaking water because of the drain clog. And then started by thawing the drain and after the drain was thawed out and then installed the new heat probe along with the new tubes in the insulation strips in the water leakage kit. I then installed the new temperature sensor and installed the new evaporator cover. I found that this unit did not have the extended defrost function. I then performed the ice maker update and Found that the inside cavity of the ice maker was full of frost and ice not able to dispense ice. Performed new ice maker kit by using rtv on the edges of ice room putting in a new ice maker and giving the auger a new drain hose heater. Also put in new control board. Put unit back together and pushed into its spot. Ran a cycle on ice maker and water dispensed in. "Customer has a Miele refrigerator that stopped producing ice. They tried shutting down the unit for a couple of days to let it defrost and turned it back on, but it still would not produce ice. I checked out the ice maker in the freezer compartment and the ice bin was empty. I did not see any test buttons. I checked the user interface and saw that the ice light was yellow, which means the ice maker was turned on. I then called Miele support. During the conversation, the tech asked if the filter light was on. It was on and flashing red. He said that if the filter light is on, it will not make ice. Good to know. So then he walked me through the 20-step process of turning off the filter light. With the filter light off, I let the customer know that it should start producing ice within the next 24 hours. If it doesnt, then we will come back out and look for a control or mechanical reason for why it wont produce ice. Customer will work on procuring a new filter. Job completed. During inspection I preheated the oven to 350? and watched the temperatures utilizing my thermometer. I allowed the oven to do 3 heat cycles and confirmed it was within the specs of the heat cycle. Once I was done with 350? I opened the oven door and allowed some of the heat to escape. After a few minutes I ran a bake cycle to 450?. I allowed the temperatures to heat cycle a couple of times. Unit was within the proper specs of the heat cycle. I did noticed some food debris on the door gasket which can allow an air leak. Recommend cleaning the debris to allow the gasket to have a good tight seal on the door. I also showed the customer on how to calibrate the oven if needed. Unit is now operating properly.
