So I returned with a new evaporator cover, I then opened the unit and took out all of the drawers in the freezer and gained access to the evaporator cover after removing the icemaker. I then installed the new cover and put the icemaker back in and ran a test cycle in Haas in found the unit pass the diagnostic mode. Agitation sounds smooth with only minor noises coming from motor and gear case. Unit drains and begins spin. Spin has basket bounce around slightly, leading to mechanical noise from motor and gear case, as well as, from lid as it is damaged and wont close properly with factory spring clamps. Machine has no immediate failures but motor and gear case are beginning to show age. Factory shock absorbers are not updated and have become soft. "Customer states icemaker is not working properly. Upon arrival removed ice bucket and inspected ice room. Found icemaker unable to cycle properly due to ice build up in ice room. Recommend icemaker update. 1time parts and labor allowance through Samsung. Used steamer to thaw ice build up in ice room. Removed old icemaker and auger motor assembly. Installed y clips and sealed ice room with RTV. Removed old drain tube and installed new drain tube with heater onto auger motor assembly. Installed auger motor assembly and new icemaker. Tested ice route assembly and test pass. Used floor protection to pull unit forward and replaced main control board for system update. Returned refrigerator to home position and ran icemaker through test cycle. Test cycle pass and icemaker filled with water. Please allow 24 hours for ice. Job complete. During inspection the drain pump would activate but no water would drain out. Tilted the unit back and removed the drain pump. Noticed there was little to no water flow coming out of the tub. Upon further inspection I noticed the line was heavily clogged with hair. Cleaned out all of the hair buildup and ran a drain and spin cycle. "Complaint that washer is making a noise in spin cycle. Tech pulled top up and front off and observed unit in spin cycle, a little bit of a grinding noise when under load, tech removed and checked belt and found no signs of cracking or slipping. Pump spins freely by hand. The potential for sometimes noisy operation on this old of a unit are high. Unit does not seem to make the noise on an empty load, only when the tub is full of water and clothes, which makes me think extra strain on the electric motor might be causing the noise. Customer states that unit made some cubes but they were very clear and it didnt make very many. Condenser fan is running but the front of the condenser is very dirty. Vacuumed what I could from the front. Put unit in test mode and found that all fans are working correct. Turned temp down in the freezer to -6 to see if the ice production would speed up. Customer is going to watch and let us know if she has any further issues.

Customer states she is having trouble getting her water filter to click into place. While inspecting the unit I found that the water filter head needs to be replaced as it is not allowing the water filter to get a proper seal causing the water to spray out when there is an attempt to use the dispenser or when the unit tries to fill its ice maker. "Customers front load Maytag washer was in a constant drain and holding her last load of clothes hostage by refusing to unlock the door. I removed the top cover and pulled the manual door release to free her clothing. Put machine into diagnostics and received an F03 E01 error. I inspected the drain hose and it was down 24 inches into her standpipe. I pulled it up and cut off enough hose so that it only sat down 5-6 inches into her drain pipe. Ran a test cycle and still got the same error. Cleaned out pressure hose air dam (filled with muck) and drain filter (filled with muck and guitar picks) and then ran another rapid wash cycle and the washer ran though fill, wash, drain, rinse, drain and spin without any issues. Customer complaint was that the spray arm had fallen off and melted on the heating element inside of the unit. I found last time that the spray arm had not been sitting in the house in correctly which caused it to fall off and melt. I returned with a new housing lock and spray arm. I then installed the new parts and inform customer that if they ever clean the filter inside of the unit that the housing lock needs to be locked in correctly or it will keep falling out on them. I found the after I locked the spray arm in correctly that the unit is operating properly. Job complete.

"Todays return visit was to replace the French mullion assembly as I found the original was not sealing properly when the door was closed, after my previous visit customer called back in to say that their in door water pitcher had also stopped working, I checked to see if there were any kinked supply line and I did not find any. Second I ran a HASS diagnosis which the unit passed, I then took a voltage test on the pitcher assembly itself and found an open line. So I ordered the parts and I returned with parts, I then disassembled unit and took out the old gear case. I then installed the new gear case into the unit and got everything locked in the place and all of the wires reconnected.
