"Customer states that the washer is dripping water into the the tub. Customer says that the washer turned on, on its own, this morning and began running the drain pump. Customer could not override the machine so he unplugged it. Tech arrived and found a steady drip of water entering the tub. Drip is every second or so. Tech believes that the computer detected that the tub was filling while off and ran the drain pump to clear thenstabding water. Tech entered diagnostics with newfi and found error f27 stored for water issues. Error 27 will occur if the valves are leaking, or if the customer pauses the cycle and leaves the lid open for more than 15 minutes. Tech ran valve tests and found that the hot solenoid is the source of the leak. Water is weeping past the valve and entering the tub. Tech ran other diagnostic tests to check remaining bits of the washer operation. Remainder of the operations are proper and tech hears/sees no additional issues. Explained findings to the customer and provided a quote to replace the fill valve log and fill hoses. Customer declined at this time and wants to discuss with his wife before deciding. Job is complete."

"Customer says that the fridge and freezer are not working properly. Some cooling is occurring but it's not even enough to cool the fridge. Tech measured temperatures between 55 and 65 in both zones. Lights and evaporator fan are working. Tech heard a click occur from the compressor overload, so he pulled the unit away from the wall and inspected. Compressor successfully fires on the next attempt, but draws 13.5a continuously until the overload is tripped. TSD start device has failed. Tech gave a quote to install a PTC starter and the customer approved. Tech installed a new mechanical starter and threw away the digital control. New starter successfully starts the compressor and continues running. The compressor is now consuming 1.6a continuously. Tech allowed fridge to run for 20 minutes and rechecked temperature. Fridge and freezer are now at and coming down rapidly. Compartments will take about 12 hours to cool down and stabilize fully. Job is complete. ; used 1 8201786 (START-DEV) from stock"

"Customer states that the ice maker is not working properly. Tech recalled error codes and none are active at this time. Removed broken ice bin and confirmed that the ice maker is frozen up. Started forced defrost of the machine and removed all ice room parts. Tech added y clip drip rings to the ice maker evaporator, installed an updated drain tube on the auger, applied sealant to the room, installed a new ice maker, and installed a new ice bin. Disassembled the user interface and ice route assembly. Cleaned components well and reassembled. Ran two test cycles of the ice maker to verify that harvest, fill, and overflow drain are proper. Warranty work is complete and operations have returned to normal. Customer asked tech to check her deli drawer as it is freezing items. Tech found that the control on the drawer is inoperable and does not light up. Freezer light is still working. Tech checked harness for signs of an obvious break and tech doesn't see any. Without a full tear down, tech can't quote accurately, but believes that either the harness has a single broken wire, or the control panel got wet due to the ice maker failure and shorted the control out. Tech gave customer his findings and she will relay the information to her warranty company if necessary. Job is complete."

"Tech arrived and fridge has an audible chime occurring. Wrench is displayed and is flashing. Temperatures are displayed and no 'EE' is shown. Temperature in the fridge is 38-41 and freezer is between 0 and -3. Held colder and pressed the power button to enter error code recovery mode. A single error shows for roughly 2 seconds and then the fridge reset and rebooted, causing error to be erased and machine to be fully reset. Tech believes error was 15-1-10 which indicates a relay fault for the fresh food zone, resulting in the 'second device being open'. Tech is uncertain what the second device being open indicates, so he downloaded the service manual for clarification. Manual has no details regarding issue or an explanation of the verbiage used. Tech went through testing of the unit and found the compressor, fan, thermistors, door switches, lights, and touch pad assembly to all be working properly. Tech finds no failures and everything was working on arrival. With code cleared, no errors have returned after 40 minutes. Tech explained findings to the customer and gave a proactive quote to install a new main computer, as error seems to be related to it. Customer declined and will monitor for changes. Job is complete."

Gained access to the fan and noticed the pin out for the molex connection was popping out.
