"Customer says that the fridge and freezer had both stopped cooling. Customer says that fridge and freezer both seem better today, but that a noise is still occurring. Tech can hear compressor noise when entering the kitchen. Measured temperatures of 50-53 in the fridge and 33-36 in the freezer. Tech removed the evaporator cover and found a full and consistent frost pattern. Activated the reed switch with a magnet and confirmed that the evaporator fan and ice room fan are both working. Tech pulled the fridge and found signs of a previous leak from the water connection, but leak has subsided some time ago. Tech removed over the machine cover and found the compressor and condenser fan both working. Condenser is slightly dirty, but not excessive. Noise is definitively from the compressor. Tech provided COD quote to install am updated compressor and dye drier. Customer declined quote. Tech encourages customer to find their proof of purchase (itemized reciept) from Lowes to enact their 5yr parts and labor coverage for this issue. Job is complete."

"Customer states unit shut off mid operation and never came back on. No power on display when arrived. Called Samsung tech line. While on tech line, verified 120 at outlet and coming into main PCB. After several attempts of plugging in/out power cord. Unit turned on. While on visual support with Samsung. They could see at 8 amps, unit shuts off then fails to restart. With Samsung on visual. Plugged unit into a separate out. After toggling outlet on/off, microwave eventually turned on. With Samsung on visual, started unit. Unit shut off at 8 amps. Per tech line request. Dropped unit and opened cavity. No lose wires or defects visible. Unit then powered on. Was able to operate unit for 3 minutes. Closed cavity and tested with visual support. Unit operated properly. Reinstalled unit. Tested fully installed. Unit ran for 30 seconds then powered off. Unit would then not turn back on. Samsung recommended new PCB and main wiring harness.; ordrng 1 DE94-05059C (Main pcb) and 1 DE96-01136B (Main harness) and 1 DE94-05209A (Assy hardware)"
