"Customer states that his LG app is alerting to a door being ajar while all doors are closed. Has been going on for roughly 2 weeks, leading to the ice cream and ice packs being slightly soft. Tech arrived and found the fresh food compartment at 41. Freezer has been opened for 20-25 seconds and measuring between 1 and 9 degrees. Tech used a magnet to trigger the reed switch in the freezer and verified that the ice fan and evaporator fan power on and begin circulating air. Tech foumd freezer rails a little stuck for both freezer drawers, but no physical signs of a door being left open. Removed deli drawer from the fresh food zone and found the return vents clear of ice and frost. While inspecting the unit, the machine entered defrost and tech is able to confirm that the evaporator is melting down and the condensate is sizzling on the heating element. Tech and customer checked the LG ThinQ app and ran self diagnosis. Machine passes the diagnosis test and says that the sensors, fans, defrost, and 'etc' are all in passing condition and experiencing normal operation. Tech explained that her brand new filter is faulty or counterfeit and she should return it to the store asap. "Customer states that the dryer was running really hot on the last cycle. Tried to run another cycle 2 hours later and the dryer won't start. Tech inspected and confirmed complaint. Main pcb clicks to turn the motor on, but dryer does not tumble or heat. Tech verified 241vac at the outlet and then disassembled. Foubd thermal fuse on the exhaust duct open. Heater is 9.9ohm and has no direct path to ground. Thermistor is reading 12.1kohm, which passes testing based on ambient temperature and documentation in the service manual. Tech is unable to check the venting as the dryer would not run. Gave customer a quote to install a new fuse to get operations going again. Customer approved repair. Tech installed new thermal fuse and ran tests on the dryer. The dryer is properly cycling the heater on and off. Checked venting outside of home and foubd venting between 6.8-8.5 miles per hour, which is low. Customer will need to have their venting cleaned out to fully address issue. Tech offered to add vent cleaning to his quote, but the customer plans to use a different duct specific company. Job is complete."

"During inspection temperatures were within specs. Ran the unit in a diagnostic mode and there was no error codes for the ice maker. Cycled the ice maker, it cycled, and filled properly. I did notice ice buildup on the back wall and some ice buildup in the freezer. Per whirlpool bulletin there is a kit to fix that issue.
