Removed microwave and disassembled. Found replacement pcb still does not work with existing ribbon cable from user interface buttons/ keypad. Removed keypad pcb from unit. Removed ribbon cable harness and reinstalled harness backwards. Reassembled console, with new pcb, and ran tests. Keypad and buttons now work properly with harness rotated. No documentation exists indicating that harness needs to be rotated, but repair requires it. Reinstalled microwave into cabinetry and verified all operations work as expected. Job is complete.

Arrived and spoke to customer about issue. Customer says dishwasher has been giving error and has not worked since January. Customer also states that he removed a small amount of debris from the pump area, this morning, after watching a YouTube video of the error code online. Tech looked at debris removed and it's a ceramic chip from a plate, which is likely to have caused the error code. Tech ran rinse cycle and no issues occur. Tech force filled and force drained dishwasher and no issues occur. Finally tech ran a 60min wash cycle and monitored for 15 minutes and foubd unit operating as expected. Tech believes issue was successfully addressed by customer prior to arrival. Job is complete.

Customer has a flood in the kitchen and is likely having his flooring replaced. Wants to know the overall condition of the dishwasher to help decide if it should be replaced or not. Tech inspected and racks rusting through. Overlay on the display is cracked and plastic console is yellowing from age. Placed pod in the dispenser and started a wash cycle. Unit fills with water and starts spraying. Dishwasher is slightly under filled but no cavitation is occurring. Monitored operations for 45 minutes while inspecting fridge and found that the pod successfully dispensed, drainage system effectively removed water, and also found heating element working to bring the water temperature up. Cycle reaches final dry and tech has not noticed any further issues. Operationally, dishwasher is working well. Tech finds no major issues or reasons to immediately replace the unit. Once the valve issue becomes worse or the racks rust further, customer may choose to replace unit at that time. Job is complete.
