"Customer states that the dryer is inoperable and throws the HC code when running. Customer has a work meeting, so she directed the technician to the basement to start the diagnosis. Tech started the dryer on airfluff and HC error occurs after running for 2 minutes. No heat is generated during the test but the error still occurs. Tech disassembled the dryer and tested the thermistor on the blower housing. Thermistor is reading 422 ohm. Reading should be 10,000 ohm at room temperature (76F). Removed sensor and found it dripping water off of it. Blower wheel and blower housing have standing water in them, possibly from the heavy rain storms that have recently occurred. Thermistor has failed, so tech provided a quote for repair. Customer approved. Tech installed new thermistor and cleaned the vent system out. Reassembled and HC code does not return during 15 minute high heat test cycle. Dryer is operating properly and no issues are now seen. "Customer states that the fridge and freezer stopped cooling over the weekend. Unplugging the fridge and cycling power have had no effect. Now the machine is silent and sounds as if it is not running. Tech plugged the fridge in and found c84 displayed immediately. Pulled the fridge and found the I verter sending 100vdc to the compressor. Compressor is consuming the electricity for roughly half a second and then shuts off due to overload. Tested windings and all are 12ohm with no short to ground. Sealed system failure has occurred. Compressor and drier are needed for the repair. Due to the locked compressor, tech also placed evaporators on order in case of a low-side leak that led to refrigerant contamination. Fridge is less than 5 years old and customer has her proof of purchase handy, so this repair will be covered under the manufacturers warranty. "Customer states that the beverage fridge is freezing most of the items inside the unit. Has tried adjusting the temperature up and down, but leads to all of the items freezing or all of the items being warm. Issue has been going on for all 4 years of ownership, and customer wants to see if issue can be fixed before the warranty expires. Tech measured temperature of 27 to 38 degrees throughout the unit. Evaporator chill plate is -13 to 4 degrees and plate has a nice consistent layer of frost across it. Tech checked cold control setting and found it set to 5/8. Tech turned control to the off position and the system shuts off. Turned it back on to 4/8 and unit sits idle for 8 minutes and then begins cooling again. Shelves, compressor, and condenser appear proper. Door gasket is cracked and the dart is torn. The fridge only has 1 glass shelf at this time and customer says that it never had any others. The parts manual shows that the fridge was supoosed to have an additional shelf to help with temperature regulation, and storage. The condenser fan makes a humming noise while running, as if it is struggling to spin properly. Tech downloaded the owners manual and found no helpful documentation other than to say 'since this is a passive cooling system, items touching the back wall are subject to freezing' and suggests 'moving items around for the best temperature results'. Tech looked up a replacement parts for repair. Tech pulled a part number for the cold control, the door gasket, and the condenser fan as they all have signs of being problematic and all are involved on the regulation of temperature. Tech provided a quote for needed repairs. Customer declined and says that she has a warranty whom is involved and needs to approve or deny the claim before moving forward. Tech will hold off on ordering parts and will wait to hear from customer. Job is complete at this time."

Board was sending proper dc and ac voltage to the inverter board, so bad inverter board. However it still did not answer the condenser fan issue. Ran the unit in a diagnostic mode and activated the condenser fan. Checked voltage at the main board and no voltage sending out of the board. When one of the boards went out it took the other board with it. Installing the new main control board with the old inverter board. It damaged the new board. During inspection the water line feeding the water valve was cracked. Replaced the line. During the test also noticed the fitting that connected to the water valve assembly was also leaking. I also tipped the unit back and confirmed the motor spins freely and has no leaking oil. I then checked codes and had one for overload.
