Dumped the r600 refrigerant charge and confirmed that 2oz of refrigerant are recovered (a full charge). Tech installed new filter drier and installed new evaporator into the freezer, as an oil restriction appears to be present. Vacuumed system down to 2100 microns and recharged with 1.95oz of refrigerant. Monitored for 20 minutes and pressures are -7.5/68. Temperature difference is present on suction and discharge lines, confirming that heat exchange is actively occurring. After 20 more minutes, temperature in the freezer has come down to 42 and the fridge is down to 53. Job is complete."

"Customer says that the display stays illuminated but won't respond to key presses. Customer has already tried to power cycle the washer. Tech inspected and found the sense-wash-rinse/spin-done lights illuminated at the top of the console. Water temperature, modifiers, and spin speed can be toggled. Jog dial position has no effect on operations when tested. Start button and power button do nothing when pressed or held. Tech cycled power 3 times and no change occurs. Removed each wire harness from the main computer and tried to wake the console by its self. Console powers on and the sense light flashes. Continued connecting harnesses and operations seems to have returned to normal. Started a quick wash cycle and verified that the lid locks, fill is appropriate, sensing, agitation, and final spin are proper. Drain pump quickly removed all of the water from the tub. Tech seems to have reset the controls but is uncertain as to what malfunctioned and created the issue at this time. Tech provided a quote to replace the main computer and the customer declined as the repair cost more than the washer did, when purchased. Job is complete."

"Cuetomer says that the washer will shut off during the cycle, leaving water in the tub. Has to run a drain and spin to finish the load. Tech connected newfi and found several inactive codes. Codes are for locked rotor and out of balance detection. Tech applied the available software update and ran tests. Unit passes all tests except for the fill test. Fill test fails by .25 inches out of 7 inches, so tech is not concerned about the ability to fill. Tech believes that out of balance detection is creating the issues. Tech explained findings and suggests that customer watch the load size carefully to reduce OOB detection during the final spin. Job is complete."

"Customer states that the freezer is freezing but that the fridge is not cooling properly. The lower portion of the fridge is freezing items and the top of the fridge is between 50 and 60 degrees. Tech connected newfi and confirmed that the fresh food fan has failed. Error codes are also present for defrost related issues that develop due to the fan failure. Tech gave a quote to install updated software, updated fan, and make miscellaneous updates and modifications to get everything back in working order. Customer approved. Tech updated the software on 3 computers, installed the 7 blade fan, affixed the defrost sensor using a cable tie, defrosted the evaporator coil, and bent the condensate trough back into a bowl shape to aid in proper discharge of the defrost condensate. Reassembled unit and monitored operations. After 10 minutes of running, interior temperature of the fridge has dropped from 62 degrees to 47 degrees. Unit will require 2 to 3 hours to steady out but then will be good to go with full usage again. Job is complete."
