Tech ran tests of the cooktop and actually found intermittent hiccups with front left, back left, and back right elements. At low temperatures, all three elements will long cycle or short cycle. Above setting 5, they all seem to steady out and work more consistently. Front right element is not cycling at all and acts like it is set to 'hi' at all times. "Customer states that the water and ice dispenser won't work. Console seems locked out. Also had issues with water pressure prior to this occurring. Tech inspected and found IFE error displayed for ice room fan error. Checked temperatures and freezer is 5 degrees and fresh food is 41. Both ice makers are turned off and upper ice bin is wrapped in the original protective material still. Tech cycled power to remove the error and then tested the water dispenser. Flow is very slow and it takes 60 seconds to fill a 16-20 ounce glass. Test cycled both ice makers and they harvest and fill partially. Tech removed freezer evaporator cover and foubd ice room fan seized up and difficult to turn. Removed fan and no debris or material is wrapped up and creating the problem. Repairing the fridge will require a replacement freezer evaporator cover. Water pressure/flow issue is not related to the machine its self, but rather the RO system installed in home. Copper line runs from filtration system under the sink, through the cabinets and behind the range, then to the fridge. Tech believes that lines are undersized and possibly crushed or kinked. Explained findings and provided quote for repair. Customer declined due to the price and says that they've had this issue for over a year and would rather continue using machine as is. Job is complete."

"Customer says that he ordered and replaced the filter with a new one, but isn't confident that it's installed correctly. Tech arrived and found an OEM filter properly installed. Tested water from the dispenser and water is slow. Removed filter and reinstalled it and water is still slow. Customer has his old knock-off filter so tech installed it. Water flow is restored and proper. Reinstalled oem filter again and water is better than before but still slow. Tech explained that use of the knock-off filters appear to have damaged the spring inside of the filter head due to a height difference. Filter head is NLA so replacement can not be done. Tech explained options to the customer and customer will keep the oem filter installed and will see if the water pressure and flow get better with time. Job is complete."
