"Customer says that he noticed a small puddle forming around the front left foot of his washing machine. Puddle was not large and was wiped up with a half of a hand towel. Tech arrived and found a stacked washer and dryer in the basement. Room is very limited in size and clearance between the dryer and the ceiling is brought 1.5 inches. Tech ran washer through a quick wash, 4 rinse and spins, and a self clean cycle without water every surfacing on the floor. Due to the approximate location of the leak being around the dispenser housing, tech gave a proactive quote to unmount the dryer using an all-dolly, disassembly of the washer, replacement of parts, reassembly, and then reinstallation of the dryer. Customer declined repair quote. Job is complete."

Upon inspection the dryer wasnt drying clothes after one cycle. I first ran the unit and confirmed it had good heat. I then ran a test cycle and checked airflow at the venting. The venting is clear and I recommended a new exterior cover to prevent animals from entering. I then explained auto dry vs. timed dry and how to best select the correct cycle. "Customer says that the washer is bouncing around and walking across laundry room floor during every cycle. Also has an issue with the filter door not shutting properly. Tech inspected and found the washer quartering away from the wall as it was bouncing during the last wash cycle. Filter door is taped in place and has chew marks from the dogs. Removed door and inspected. The dogs bit the retention clip off of the door. Tech checked the spin basket and found that the basket is warped/bent by over 1/2' between the high and low spot. Started spin only cycle and washer, although empty, starts to create a lot of vibration in the floor which allows the machine to start sliding across the room. Tech canceled cycle. Placed washer back to where it is normally sitting in the laundry room and ran a rinse and spin. Washer basket is seen bouncing significantly during spin and even bangs around during agitation. Tech suggests a new spin basket, new suspension, and new filter door. Customer declined quote. Job is complete."

"Arrived at the house and found a whirlpool built sxs fridge in the kitchen. Fresh food compartment is 36 degrees and the freezer is -5. Compressor, fans, and lights all work properly. Ice bin is empty and tech noticed that the automatic shutoff arm is missing from the unit. Tested the water dispenser and water doesn't work. Customer says that the water was leaking inside the freezer, under the front of the unit, and out the back of the machine when water was supplied; so she shut the water off. Tech smacked the control console with a closed fist and the unit suddenly shuts off. Techs findings show that the cold control is faulty, the filter housing is leaking, the ice maker is missing pieces, and the fill valve is cracked and weeping. Provided tenant with a quote for repair to address issues seen in today's visit. Customer declined repairs and will discuss with her landlord about the repairs needed. Job is complete."

Upon inspection customer had heard arcing from the unit. The heating element was replaced but the unit popped the breaker. I first pulled the door panel and inspected the main control. The control had overheated and burnt. This also caused damage to multiple wires/connectors on the main harness. Error code a6 on display for no spray arm detected. Filter screen and spray arm were removed when I arrived. Reinstalled the screen and spray arm and put unit into a rinse cycle and is filled and began to circulate. Unit is circulating properly and drains out properly. Checked errors in diagnostics and there was also an f24 motor stalled/stopped/overload. Likely spray arm came off and was stopping the rotor from spinning as everything is working poorly and theres no foreign objects in the sump that would stop the motor from spinning. "Customer says that the leak is occurring on the left side of the dishwasher. Tech inspected unit and found tub seal and door sweep seal crumpled up and deformed. Both spray arms have possibly split on the ends. Tech removed the toe kick and started a cycle. Dishwssher begins dripping from the left hinge after about 20 minutes. Opened door and tech can see that water has escaped past the seal, but can't determine if the spray arms are in working condition or not. Tech suggests a new spray arms, new door sweep, and new tub seal. Customer declined due to costs. Job is complete."
