"Customer complaint of no power going to unit. Customer said there was a recent power surge. Initial inspection of unit found unit dead with no power output. Checked main control board and found 120 V supplied but no output. Disconnected all outputs to board except DC control. Plugged unit in and found unit interior lighting and control board display lit with several error codes. Individually plugged in each DC connector then plugging unit in. Then plugged in every AC output connector from board and tested for shorts. After all AC output, plugged back in, compressor, fired up and ran as designed. after visual support with Samsung tech-support, it was determined that the left door DA82-02735B must be replaced because of a failed ambient air temperature sensor that is not serviceable. Customer has 30 days to decide and keep service call. Service calls is collected."

Was able to clear drain hose and found a peanut had gotten stuck in the drain hose blocking it. After removing peanut I drained top unit into a bucket and it is now draining properly. Found that drain hoses were not ran correctly and did not have a proper high loop allowing water to flow back into lower drawer when done draining. I re-did the drain hose routine and installed it with a proper high loop. Job complete.

"Customer states that dryer sucked a sock or two into the blower fan, and now noise has persisted even with the items removed. Started dryer and tech hears no unusual noises. Disassembled dryer and accessed the blower components. Blower wheel is undamaged, is tight, and spins true. Housing has no impact marks and heater is cycling well. Reassembled dryer and started 15 minute time dry cycle and no noises occur for tech. Tech explained to customer that items getting pulled into the blower wheel could damage the drive motor or blower assembly and also explained that some panel vibration is normal; but the noises experienced at this time are normal and sound appropriate for a 3yr old dryer. "Customer states that auger is broken and now cubes won't dispense. Checked temperatures and found freezer between (-2) and 2 while the fridge is hovering around 43 or 44. Looked at bin on counter and can see bin auger is broken. The two largest fins on the auger are broken off and the remainder of the auger is cracked throughout. Provided minimum labor charge plus part as a quote and customer approved. Disassembled ice bin and removed broken auger assembly. Installed new auger into existing bin and moved all of the crusher gears and parts over to the new auger. With bin fully reassembled, tech reinstalled the bin into the freezer and turned the ice maker back on. Machine successfully harvests and refills. Upon inspection the washer was excessively moving during higher speeds of spin. I ran the unit through a normal wash cycle empty and observed the drum bouncing when speeds increased. The dampers on the unit have begun to wear out. Four new dampers would be needed to complete the repair. "Customer states that washer is only filling with hot water, leading to lots of wrinkling and damage to her colored items. Also says washer makes a lot of noise during use. Ran tests using newfi. Cold valve does not actuate and hot water does. Disassembled console and found hoses reversed. Corrected hoses but valve still not activating. Installed new valve assembly and connected hoses properly. Ran tests in newfi and machine will not fill with hot and cold water. Exited test mode and started express wash cycle. Machine properly fills and begins agitation. Water temperature is 75 degrees. No unusual noises are hear or experienced. Tech believes that new machine with locking lid, electric drain pump, and other new features are leading to noises that customer had not experienced on her 23 year old stacked set she previously had. Job is complete."

"Customer states unit is not making ice and also leaking water from freezer. Inspected unit. Had temps of 15 in freezer, 45 in fresh food and 22 in ice room. Too warm to make ice. Compressor and fans are running. Removed evaporator cover. Had partial frost pattern. Let unit run. After 20 minutes frost pattern has not improved. Only about half the coil is developing frost and it wont get colder than 19 degrees. Unit is at beginning stages of a sealed system failure. Believe unit is not making ice because it is too warm.
