Ran icemaker test and ice maker is not filling but water is dripping down the left hand side of freezer. Removed icemaker and found ice blocking flow of water. Removed ice rod and tested unit again with good flow. Slid unit out and tested drain tube heater voltage at board and got 12vdc which is correct. Checked resistance on heater through wire and got 1ohm. Resistance on heater should be 120ohms. Unit will need a new drain tube heater. Quoted customer for repair. Customer accepted repair. "Customer states that the top oven intermittently does not heat properly, causing cook times to change frequently. Also has issues with large 3-way-burner on cooktop not regulating its temperature properly. Always heats on high regardless of where dial is set. Tech connected newfi device, started 350 degree upper bake, and began testing cooktop. Cooktop is cycling on the hot side and regulation. Once any size of burner is at level 5 or higher, regulation nearly stops all together. Infinite switch is faulty and will need replaced. Oven satisfies preheat temperature but continues to climb. After reaching 405 degrees (viewing through newfi) oven cools to 365 and tries to reheat from there. Relays click, but no heat continues to occur. Machine continues trying to regulate temperature but struggles to heat back up and misses nearly half of the times it attempts. Tech is unable to pull the oven as customer is currently using machine. Tech has personally experienced damaged wiring/elements as well as failed pcbs which have caused similar issues in similar machines. Tech will submit parts for authorization and will schedule repairs after approval and parts have arrived. "Customer states unit is not turning on, or when it did it would flicker, and electrical burning can be smelled . When arrived unit was unplugged. Plugged u it in with amp meter, unit ran for 2 seconds and shut off. Started unit again and ran for entire 30 seconds amperage was over 15. Could smell burning electrical. Removed face plate and ran again. Could see smoke coming from top of microwave. Removed shields and found terminal to TCO had burnt up. Removed TCO and found a lead on the TCO to be lose. "Pulled fridge and disconnected waterline from rear of machine. Pulled failed case assembly out of machine and installed new one in place. Reconnected lines and turned supply back on. Dispensed 5 gallons of water through machine and verified no leaking has occurred at connection points or from filter housing its self. Ram timed test of water dispenser. Machine is dispensing 1oz of water per second after repair. Prior to repair, less than 1/2oz was dispensed every second. No other repairs are required as hass testing passes. Job is complete."

"Customer states that fresh food compartment is not cooling as well as it should. Has no complaints or issues regarding leaking and is confused as to why the dispatch had indicated that problem. Took temperatures with the infrared thermometer and fresh food is 42 and freezer is -1. Used hass tool to remote into diagnostic data. Found ambient sensors reading appropriately in home, found fans spinning properly, and found thermistors reading accurately to technicians findings. Ran over cooling, weak cooling, and over all check up tests and machine passes all of them. View 172hr data log and found that fresh food temperatures have consistently been between 37 and 42 degrees with only 4 instances of that range being missed. Three instances where the machine over cooled to 34 degrees and one instance where the fridge under cooled to 44. Applied silicone grease to the French assembly to allow smooth articulation and adjusted customers doors due to complaint of them not being the same height. Machine passes all tests and checks out. "Upon inspection the refrigerator was making a loud buzzing noise while running. I gained access to the freezer evaporator fan and found it to be running properly with no ice buildup. I then pulled the fridge and inspected the compressor and condenser fan. The compressor is operating properly, but humming loudly. The condenser fan is operating properly as well. A wheel on the freezer drawer was cracked and causing a noise. I will return with a new freezer drawer wheel to complete the repair. "Found icemaker cavity frozen up with ice from moisture being pulled in from cavity seams. Ice maker is no longer making ice. Steamed out icemaker cavity and removed icemaker and removed the auger assembly. Then I sealed up all of the seams inside to prevent moisture from getting in in the future causing the ice maker cavity to ice up. Installed new updated auger drain line on new updated auger assembly, installed new auger assembly and new ice maker. Checked line on back and black line is showing. Upon inspection the washer was using only hot water to run cycles. I first tested the unit on a speed wash using cold water. After a few minutes I checked the water temperature and it was very hot. I then inspected the waterlines going into the machine. The hot and cold lines had been attached to the wrong valves. I swapped the lines and ran a test cycle to confirm proper operation. "Upon inspection the refrigerator is not cooling with temps at 71? in ff and 70? in the freezer. I used my diagnostic tool to check functionality of the evaporator fans, condenser fan, and ice box fan. The temperature sensors were also reading correct temperatures. Customer had installed a new start device on the refrigerator and was unable to get the compressor to run. I tried to force run the compressor but it would not begin cooling. The compressor has failed and the unit will need a sealed system rebuild. We will return with the parts to complete the repair.
