During inspection unit would display a rpm fault code. Ran the unit in a diagnostic mode and noticed it wasnt reading the rpm when I was spinning the drum by hand. Installed a new shifter assembly and ran a calibration cycle. During the test I noticed the motor would hum during the agitate and spin cycle. Removed the old capacitor and it had failed. Installed a new capacitor and ran another calibration test. Unit passed the test. Finally I ran a drain and spin cycle. Unit completed the cycle properly. Unit is now operating properly.Job complete

"Customer states that the washer is giving an LE error code and wont operate. Powered machine on and started diagnostic testing. Door locks but motor does not spin the basket. Basket attempts to spin but inverter is heard sending unusual signals. Pulled washer and removed rotor and stator assemblies. Neither appear damaged and stator windings are proper. Bearing are undamaged and basket spins freely. Hall sensor has failed and needs replaced. Sensor is available as part of the stator and stator has 10yr warranty on the part from the manufacturer. Asked customer for proof of purchase and customer provided itemized receipt from NFM. Installed new stator and new rotor into machine and ran new tests. During inspection I ran the unit in a diagnostic mode via Newfi. Unit was displaying a diverter fault. Ran the unit in a diagnostic test and activated the wash pump. During the test I would activate different positions for the diverter and noticed the spray arms would not spin. Upon further inspection I noticed the top cover for the diverter valve was not properly secured. With the diverter valve not properly secured it was not allowing water to flow through the spray arms. Fixed the diverter valve and ran another test. Unit was properly directing water to the spray arms. I also ran the circulation test and it passed. Finally I ran a normal cycle and did a live view. Unit was properly reading the position of the diverter. Unit is now operating properly.

"Found icemaker cavity frozen up with ice from moisture being pulled in from cavity seams. Ice maker is no longer making ice. Steamed out icemaker cavity and removed icemaker and auger. Removed plastic tabs and installed y clip update. Then sealed up all of the seams inside to prevent moisture from getting in in the future causing the ice maker cavity to ice up. Installed new updated auger drain line on new updated auger assembly, installed new auger assembly and new ice maker. Checked line on back and black line is showing. I then installed new main pcb. Then cycled the icemaker and it completed the cycle and filled.

"Customer complaint of unit making loud noises during spin cycle. When I arrived on site, machine was running a load of towels. Obvious overload. Stopped existing load and switch to drain and spin only. On high speed, spin with overload, unit performed quietly. Removed towels and ran unit on drain and spin and unit performed quietly as well. put unit into test mode to check all loads. Found drain pump and all valves working properly. In test mode first test is spin at 50 rpm - successful. Second test is spin at 600 rpm - successful. 900 rpm test was quiet as well. Informed customer on proper loading techniques. Job complete."

Upon inspection the refrigerator was making a loud rattling noise while the compressor was running. I checked the evaporator fan in the freezer and it was operating without issue. I then pulled the refrigerator utilizing floor protection and gained access to the compressor. I inspected the condenser fan which I found to be the source of the noise. A new condenser fan assembly will be needed and I will return to complete the repair.
