We tested the heating element for continuity and the element had failed. The drum belt was very worn and frayed. Customer states that new laundry center in her bedroom closet leaked during back to back cycles. Tech inspected area and water staining is on floor protector under machine. Tech looked machine over and found indication of fill hose leaking (staining is present) but no other immediate indications. Removed rear access panel and leaking appears to have originated from the rear. Started quick wash cycle to quickly check operations. Unit passes 15 minute test without leaking. Added small load of laundry and started a delicate cycle. Tech now sees unit leaking a small amount of water from the pressure hose. Repaired hose and continued cycle. Leaking has subsided inside unit and no leaking is occurring on rear. Continued to run cycles for an additional 35 minutes and issue appears to be addressed. Job is complete.

Machine fills to an appropriate level but does not agitate, even though motor is heard turning. Removed access panel and found two dozen rags, towels, socks, etc sitting under drive components. Removed items and retried cycle. Machine is now agitating but is struggling. After running for 30 seconds, the drive belt falls off and needs to be reinstalled. Checked under machine and significant wear has occurred through use. Belt is stretched, motor bearings are failing, gear case needs replaced, and shock absorbers are worn out. Checked venting leaving dryer and found vent cap on roof is clogged and a full vent cleaning is needed. Dryer is gas, so vent cleaning is very imperative. Generated a quote for repairs. Business has elected to hold off at this time. Job is complete."

"Customer stated that on Christmas Day the refrigerator stopped working and completely thawed all the food. Upon inspection I found the compressor to be locked. Compressor kicked up to 8 amps when trying to operate. Inspecting the windings I got 10 ohms across 2 sets of pins but 19 ohms across the last pair. Unit will need a new compressor, drier, purge/ flush and recharged with new refrigerant to operate again. The condenser coils were also caked in dust and likely caused the compress to overheat and burn off the refrigerant and oil. Upon inspection the washer would not go into a spin cycle after filling. We first used our diagnostic tool to fill the tub and noticed that the water was drying out slowly without the drain pump. The drain line on the washer was ran too low and was causing a siphon effect. The water was draining out and causing the washer to fill continuously to try and maintain the proper water level. We secured the drain line of the unit up higher to prevent the siphon effect. We then ran the washer through multiple test cycles and confirmed proper operation. The washer is now operating properly. Replaced the Evap covers for both the freezer and fresh food sections. Also cleared out the buildup of excessive ice in the drainage areas of both units. Cleared all the way back through the drain lines. Melted ice during defrost cycle was not clearing the drain line and then refreezing. Checked both rooms defrost heaters and thermostats and they were all within specs. Previous technician had melted a bunch of butle tape that was on the cap tube line and it was along the back of the fresh food Evap liner. Advised customer on issue.

"Found icemaker cavity frozen up with ice from moisture being pulled in from cavity seams. Ice maker is no longer making ice. Steamed out icemaker cavity and removed icemaker and auger. Removed plastic tabs and installed y clip update. Then sealed up all of the seams inside to prevent moisture from getting in in the future causing the ice maker cavity to ice up. Installed new updated auger drain line on new updated auger assembly, installed new auger assembly and new ice maker. Checked line on back and black line is showing. I then installed new main pcb. Then cycled the icemaker and it completed the cycle and filled.
