"Upon inspection the dishwasher would continuously run its drain pump. We removed the lower rack and noticed the float switch was stuck. We adjusted the float switch so that it was able to move again and tried another test cycle. The dishwasher operated properly, including filling with water and going through the wash cycle. Customer stated that when cooking using the front right burner they saw a flash of light and a popping sound then the whole unit went out and tripped the breaker. Upon inspection I was able to duplicate the issue when using the front right burner. There was a small puff of smoke from the junction box underneath the cabinet. Once I removed the cover there was burnt wires and one of the wire nuts had melted exposing the wire which touched the side of the junction box causing the arc fault.

Replaced the outer door and top control board. Customer also stated the upper rack was having issue fully sliding into the tub. Upon inspection the rail bearings were not fully seating and rolling with the rail and rack. I pushed the rail and rack back together and tested and the rack now fully slides in to allow the door to close with proper tension. The mounting bracket on the upper right side was slightly in the path of the door but the customer stated he was going to pull the bracket screws out and fix this as it is an installation related issue. I left the door ajar to prevent scratches again.

Customer recently has had new countertop put in over the dishwasher; currently, there is no clearance above, behind, side to side or in front of to maneuver unit out from where it is situated. Foot on right side is shaped in such a way that there is no way to rotate it to adjust the dishwasher down so it can be pulled out. "Inspected unit. No operations are occurring and machine is sitting idle. Display has (- -) on it rather than numbers and light does not work in the fridge. Lights are not working. Removed lint cover, screwed bulb in fully, and light starts working. Changed display to (4 4) and fans power on. Tech does not hear the compressor start. Pulled fridge and checked compressor. Compressor is pulling lock rotor amperage and overload is clicking out. Removed tsd starter and installed ptc starter in place. Compressor now fires and begins running. Allowed machine to run for 20 minutes and checked temperatures. Freezer is still at 70 degrees with no cold spots developing. Disassembled freezer zone and checked evaporator. Evaporator is not developing any frost pattern but tech can hear refrigerant boiling. Refrigerant leak has developed and will need to be repaired. Will submit for sealed system repair.
