"Unit has a failed compressor. I reclaimed a full charge worth of refrigerant. Unit will need the compressor, and drier replaced. I removed old compressor and drier from unit. I then installed and welded in new compressor and drier. Then proceeded to pressurize system with nitrogen to 250 psi. I checked all welds with bubble leak detector and no leaks were found. Next I vacuumed down the system for 30 minutes and achieved a xxx micron vacuum. I updated main pcb software for new compressor. After removing vacuum, pump the vacuum settled out at xxx microns. Vacuum holding steady. I then recharged system with 4.76 oz of r134 a refrigerant. Unit is now running and beginning to blow cold air. Allow 24 hours for unit to cycle temps back down to normal. Job complete.

"Customer complaint is that unit was leaking water underneath of the crispers. Found that when I took all of the items out of the fridge along with all of the shelving I found that after I took the evaporator cover off of the unit that there was a lot of ice buildup causing the drain to be clogged. Found that unit was still cooling properly but was leaking water because of the drain clog. And then started by thawing the drain and after the drain was thawed out and then installed the new heat probe along with the new tubes in the insulation strips in the water leakage kit. I then installed the new temperature sensor and installed the new evaporator cover. I also installed the new extended defrost to the unit as well. "Inspected fridge and found 40e present. Started forced defrost and disassembled machine. Removed 2017 ice maker and auger. Nibs are cut and y clips are proper. Applied new sealant to room and installed new g auger. Installed new ice maker. Pulled fridge and adjusted the water fill line. Removed drain lines for ice maker and for compartment and cleaned them in the sink. Reassembled rear and pushed fridge back. Upper ice maker is working properly. Customer also has issue with lower ice maker so tech watched operation. Ice maker appears to have a damaged mold, so tech replaced ice maker. New ice maker harvests and fills correctly. Installed new upper ice bin and changed defrost to 117. No other repairs are needed. "Customer states unit is producing ice slowly. On arrival unit is running and bin level is turned to high. I advanced timer to harvest to restart cycle. It harvested for approximately 3 minutes and began circulating again. Turned cold control to low and monitored. Began harvest 9 minutes later. Not long enough to produce ice. Adjusted control up some. Began harvest at 16 minutes. Still not long enough to produce cubes. I drained all water from reservoir and let cool without water. Evap developed full even frost pattern and called for harvest quickly. I adjusted control up some more and monitored. Condenser is 105-110 degrees against 78 ambient. Measured fridge across the room and condenser is also around that temp. Took 40 minutes for harvest to begin. Had solid cubes this time. I blew condenser out to clean it. Temp dropped a few degrees to 102. Told customer to monitor oven weekend. Possible sealed system issue. Maybe not gas valve sticking slightly. Would recommend doing compressor, hot gas valve and evaporator."

Next I vacuumed down the system for 30 minutes and achieved a xxx micron vacuum. After removing vacuum, pump the vacuum settled out at xxx microns. Vacuum holding steady. I then recharged system with 3.70oz of r134 a refrigerant. Unit is now running and beginning to blow cold air. Allow 24 hours for unit to cycle temps back down to normal.
