The customer's dryer wasn't tumbling even though the drum would spin when started. We found that the drum belt was broken, and upon inspection, we discovered the motor pulley was heavily worn with visible thread wear that was causing accelerated belt degradation. We also identified that the original rollers and belt tensioner showed signs of age and wear. Job complete.
Technician inspected the dryer and confirmed the motor relay engaged with an audible click but the drum failed to rotate. Visual inspection of the drum assembly revealed a broken belt, worn rollers (original red-colored components), and a worn belt tensioner. The motor pulley exhibited significant wear with exposed threading that was contributing to rapid belt deterioration and failure.

The customer reported that the craft ice maker wasn't working properly and was leaking water. We found ice buildup around the ice mold linkage that was preventing it from opening fully. We cleared the ice and tested the ice maker, which then cycled and refilled successfully. Job complete.
Tech inspected freezer temperature at 0°F and refrigerator between 44–48°F during a dwell cycle. The ice mold linkage was frozen over, restricting full opening of the mold. After clearing ice accumulation from the mold sides and performing a test cycle, the ice maker harvested and refilled normally, indicating the issue was likely air in the system from the recent water line service causing aerosolized water spray during initial fill.

This is the second time we have had Derek come to our home for appliance repair, and he really is so knowledgeable, dried and professional!
Our dishwasher stopped working, and although Derek told us it most likely would need replacing in the near future, he did a software update for it to see if it might fix the problem, even temporarily, and it did!
Instead of trying to push an expensive repair on our dishwasher, he genuinely tried to help us by trying this software update first to save us a lot of money!
Derek cares about his customers, and wants to do what he can to save them from a very large repair bill. He also let us know that this would help the problem temporarily, but did advise us that we would probably need to replace it before too long. We really appreciate his honesty!
