Before we embark on this new decade, we’d like to take a minute to reflect on and celebrate the year 2019, which was an amazing year for our company:
- We completed 15,196 appliance service calls to Omaha, Council Bluffs and the surrounding areas, repairing everything from refrigerators (over 4,800) to a vacuum cleaner (yes, really!). For the full breakdown, see our infographic below.
- We marked our first full year at our new address, giving us room to grow both our service division and our local parts counter.
- Dacor got wind of our amazing work and named us Omaha’s authorized Dacor repair service.
- We were awarded the Angie’s List Super Service Award (for the 6th year in a row) and the Best of Omaha 2020 – Appliance Repair (for the 4th straight year)!
- We added new faces to our team and celebrated some big events in our family, including a new baby!
- We published four buying guides, sharing our expertise to help customers make the best decision when it comes to buying their next appliance.
- And we wrapped up the year with another record-breaking holiday food drive supporting Food Bank for the Heartland and the families they serve.
Finally, we’re proud to announce that in 2019 NHA was selected to be a Samsung Branded Engineer – a designation bestowed on only a select number of appliance repair companies across the country. Not to brag, but with over 2,800 Samsung appliances repaired in 2019 alone, and a team of technicians who have been certified with the highest level of training, we’re pretty sure they made the right choice.
We are astonished and proud of all we’ve accomplished, not to mention humbled by the trust that our community continues to place in us, allowing us to live our motto: Your Hometown Hero. And though 2019 was very busy, we’re not ready to rest. Hometown Hero Appliance Repair remains on call to save the day whenever and wherever an appliance breaks down in the great city of Omaha.
