If you don’t see a job opening that’s a fit, but you’re still interested in a career with us, send us a message. We’d still love to have a conversation with you.
Appliance repair doesn’t get the same attention as other trades, but it’s a great career with great benefits, and we’re willing to put in the work to make you a pro.
1. Job Security with Great Pay
There’s a nationwide shortage of appliance repair technicians, but more appliances are breaking down than ever. Put two and two together and you’ll understand why our techs say they never feel like a replaceable cog. And unlike similar trades, such as HVAC or auto repair, our technicians can expect to earn far better compensation and benefits.
2. Independent Work Environment with Support of a Full Team
We provide our techs with a tablet and phone, a fully-equipped van, a uniform, and scheduled customers. The rest—driving between jobs, running diagnostics, quoting repairs, and completing service calls—is left to our technicians. “It’s not about punching a clock,” says Ali. “I’m trusted to get my job done, and when I want to work and earn more, I can.”
3. See the City and Meet Its People
While not all customers are alike, ours are often gracious hosts when inviting our techs into their homes. “I really enjoy when customers tell me about their lives when I’m working,” says Vince. “It makes me feel very welcome in their homes, and I feel like a guest, not a repairman.” And when you’re not meeting folks, you’re out driving in the sun.
4. See the Good You Do
Our tagline is “Your Hometown Hero,” because within your service territory, you will be the hero to many grateful homeowners. “I get a rush of adrenaline every time I finish repairing an appliance,” says Mike, “because my customers always respond with so much relief and thanks and joy. I get home in the evening and feel really good about the job that I do.”
5. Be a Valued Part of an Award-Winning Team
We win awards throughout the Midwest. We’ve even won the national Most Professional Servicer award. And it’s thanks to our techs. We invest in our employees’ training and their quality of life because we’re a tight-knit group and have each other’s backs. If you have an idea to help us achieve our mutual goals, your voice will be heard and appreciated.

Never fixed an appliance before? Don’t worry, we’ll train you (and pay you to learn the job). Our Director of Training has a proven process for training new hires, even those brand new to appliance repair. You will take online classes, practice customer interactions and do ride-alongs with more experienced technicians to build up your skills and your comfort level with the job. When you finally start taking calls on your own, you will already be a confident pro.
“As long as you are willing to learn, you’ll pick it up,” says Mark. “It helped that I had experience with home renovation projects, and that I liked taking things apart and figuring out how they work. After just 3 months of training, I knew I could go out and handle anything myself, and I’ve only learned more since then.”
